[edit] General Summary
This chapter would be titled as "Jade Pipa, the Fat-Belly Guitar Spectar". After experiencing a great level of ill luck in the past, Jiang and Soong enter a private garden that is covered with blooming lands -- a wonderful area indeed. Soon enough, Jiang and his friend would arrive at the PEONY PAVILION. While within this pavilion, Jiang would forsee a five-room villa that would put the holder in a state of unlimited happiness. Soong however does not seem to believe is geomancy reading. In time however, the production of this five-room villa finally came to fruition and everyone worked hard day and night to ensure it's success. Suddenly one day, a large tornado would appear from nothing and five large demon beasts could be seen. Following such an event an much discussion, it had been decided that a studio of fortune telling should be built for Jiang Baby Tooth -- because it is his specialty. Soon enough, Jiang's fame would spread quickly across the southern gate of the capital, Morning Song.
The first person to ever visit Jiang's studio would be a large strong man feared by others, known as Liu Quin. These were the exact words that Jiang would give to Liu Quin for his fortune:
- Toward the southeast go thee
- An old man under the willow tree you'll see
- Four pieces of cake and two bowls of wine
- Plus one hundred twenty coppers for your find
Soon enough, this man's fortune was exactly set by destiny -- no matter how much Liu Quin tried to alter it. Thus, Jiang was known as the greatest of fortune tellers and soon attained large crowds of people as a regular occurrence. Another person to later see Jiang's greatness - even if quite forced - would be a tax payer. One day however, Jade Pipa, one of three specters under Nu Wa would suddenly show her face before Jiang one day. However, Jade Pipa was disguised as an exceedingly beautiful woman. Once Jiang set his eyes upon her, he instantly realized her true identity and would thus never let go of her palm less the true specter could escape. In time, Jiang had little choice but to even kill Jade Pipa's physical body by knocking her over the head with his ink stone. Following such an event, Prime Minister Bi Gan was presented before Jiang and immediately wanted the reason for Jiang's action. Once Jiang elaborated his innocence, Bi Gan concluded it best if the matter was brought over with the king. Following Bi Gan's explanation of the issue to King Zhou, Daji thought to herself, "Oh, pity my poor little sister Jade Pipa! Why didn't you go home directly? Why were you so foolish? I will seek revenge for you, I promise!" Thus following this event, Jiang would present himself with due courtesy before the king himself and tell about the woman's true identity as a specter, and how he had little choice but to take drastic actions. Soon enough, King Zhou would stand atop the Star-Picking Belvadere and watch as the woman's body was placed amongst a large amount of firewood. After placing varied juju's atop her body, Jiang would begin the mighty blaze of fire.
