Social Change is happening all around us. Even in the most rigid of societies it's taking place, though maybe at a varied pace. Social change essentially means the process by which changes occur in the super-structure or/& the infrastructure of a society.

Social change can occur slowly and steadily, maintaning the stability of a social system. Or it can occur spontaneously and violently, damaging the original social system in the process.
