French Guiana[edit]
- A French department in northern South America, French Guiana was used by France as a penal colony, popularly known as Devil’s Island. The earliest stamps are from 1969.
- The stamps are identical to those used in continental France and differ only in the contents of their town marks. See FRANCE/Annex for more information.
