Concepts and Diagnosis[edit | edit source]

The concepts and diagnosis (CD) outcomes are related to the ideas surrounding diagnosing psychological disorders, as well as particular concepts in abnormal psychology.

There are three concepts and diagnosis outcomes:

  • CD1: Examine the concepts of normality and abnormality.
  • CD2: Discuss validity and reliability of diagnosis.
  • CD3: Discuss cultural and ethical considerations in diagnosis.

Note that any example responses are not necessarily worth full marks, but exist simply to provide an idea of how an example looks.
