Cognition and Emotion[edit | edit source]

The cognition and emotion (CE) outcomes look at the influence of mental processes and cognitive factors on emotions.

There are two cognition and emotion outcomes:

  • CE1: To what extent do cognitive and biological factors interact in emotion?
  • CE2: Evaluate one theory of how emotion may affect one cognitive process.

Note that any example responses are not necessarily worth full marks, but exist simply to provide an idea of how an example looks.
