Edging is the technique of defining the edges of a garden where it bumps up against lawn, hardscapes, or pathways.

  • Half-moon edgers
The most efficient way to use a half-moon edger is to keep one's foot always on the blade on the side opposite to the direction of travel (lifting the foot with the rest of the tool while moving along).
