Geography[edit | edit source]

Eriador is a region of Middle-Earth that is filled with different landscapes, from plains to forests to mountains. The Weather Hills are a very barren and rocky landscape while the nearby Midgewater Marshes are quite the opposite. Eriador doesn't have as many trees as you would expect, in the past, Men cleared the forests for farming and the forests never recovered. Most of the trees are to be found in the Shire, Bree-land and the Trollshaws.
