General Tips[edit | edit source]

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when dealing with the fairer sex (or pretty much anyone, it's just a matter of application).

Don't lie. It's simple, but its really important. Always be honest, and you'll avoid many a headache. This doesn't mean you can't exaggerate, but don't over do it. If you say you're going to do something you had better do it. If you can't do it, come up with a really good reason why (i.e. the truth), or make sure your intention to accomplish whatever it is was clear from the start. Lying rarely yields a sustainable benefit.

Don't gloat. No one likes a bragger. Sure, you can reminisce of something awesome, but it needs to be an engaging story.

Always be respectful. Not just to your date, but to everyone you encounter (with or without her). This will build a solid reputation for yourself and leave you in good standing with many. If you are in a position to help, help; even if it is a minor inconvienance. Be curteous and patient with all. Maintain a clean sense of humour, jokes at the cost of others just aren't worth it. Actions always speak louder than words, and by the end of the day if your the woman you're interested can see or has heard of your kindness and generosity you will get you in her scope even if you aren't the best looking or an excellent conversationalist.

While being direct has its benefits, keep it in context. Women tend to enjoy a mystery. Don't skimp out when building a mystique. Keep it fun and interesting. So when a lady asks you who you like don't be a moron and just flat out say "I like you." Not like that, build it up first. "Well I'm sure you know her, blah blah blah." (but only if you're really corny)
