Georgia Local Government Public Works Construction Law, O.C.G.A. § 36-91-1

This Chapter sets forth the law for when private construction companies bid on public works projects. The state or local government is required to publicly advertise the contract opportunity before awarding a contract. All contracts must be in writing and must be available for public inspection.
