The Endocrine System consists of 8 glands that help the body's growth, development, metabolism, puberty, tissue funtion and mood. They are:

  1. Pineal Gland
  2. Pituitary Gland
  3. Thyroid Gland
  4. Thymus
  5. Adrenal
  6. Pancreas
  7. Ovary(in women)
  8. Testes(in men)

All of these 8 glands release hormones.
