As a parent, you want to believe that when your child is at school they are in a safe environment and in an adequate facility. Everyone you ask has a different idea about what makes an effective school. There are so many reasons why this is important. Education is the key to success. Schools need to put forth the best education they can to allow students to have the greatest opportunities.

How important is support for all teachers? Do you think Pre-K is the answer? How beneficial is school/community partnerships? How does creating a positive learning environment make an effective school? All of these topics will be discussed in the following chapter.
