Summary

Description
English: Trainz WIkibook how-to illustration.
  • Red outlined block of files are PEVs or TRAINZ related installer files in downloads directory shown.
  • YELLOW outlined block are PEVs tools SUBSET (Note, new users should move heaven and earth to obtain the TRS2006 *.pdf manuals)
  • Light Blue-Green outlined PEVtoolz are critical acquisitions.
    • Install these at least.
    • The attachment utility and Swayer are somewhat advanced tools. You'll know when you need the former, and the second is a nicety for traincars alone, and unnecessary in Trainz:A New Era and later releases.
    • The Mesh Viewer is also only for traincars. Using it in your early error fixing career is contra-suggested. Start fixing buildings and other scenery items before taking on rolling stock or locomotives which this tool applies to.
