Summary

Description
English: Grey-level transformation required for contrast enhancement of images with 256 shades of gray (i.e. m=8 bits). In this example, the unprocessed data is transformed so that all pixels with a pixel value less than 50 are displayed as black, all pixels with a pixel value greater than 150 are displayed as white and all pixels with pixel values between 50 and 150 are displayed using an intermediate shade of gray.
