- Aim for a second language English speaker
- keep sentences short
- explain all new concepts as simply as possible
- don't think you can't use terminology but it must be introduced - the real key is to keep sentences short and introduce things slowly
- When in doubt about if something fits the syllabus look at To do and check the ~Must include~ list
- If you think that something important is missing include it, but we must not exclude anything that is in the syllabus
