Energy Efficiency Reference
A quick guide to saving energy.

Preface

Welcome to the Energy Efficiency Reference! This reference will house extensive technical information on how to evaluate energy savings, especially in the industrial setting. The main source of information is the Department of Energy's Industrial Assessment Center program that has 20+ years of developing energy audit reports and thesis papers. These documents are currently housed in various digital formats on local drives as well as on paper. The reasoning behind developing the reference was to open this vast knowledge base to the public, particularly to industry. Currently, there are 25 IACs at other universities that will hopefully act as contributors to the Wikibook, with 2 other universities working with us already.
