By the end of this lesson, you should know key vocabulary words for going to the beach.

Picture match activity

In the following scene, three friends, Siena, AJ and Cate, prepare for the beach.

Siena: Esta muy caliente.

AJ: Si, esta muy caliente.

Cate: ¿Vamos a la playa?

Siena: Si, pero no tengo toalla.

AJ: Esta bien. Yo tengo muchas toallas.

Cate: Tengo que comprar un traje de baño nuevo.

Siena: Yo tengo que comprar unas sandalias nuevas.

AJ: Bueno, yo tengo todo. Tengo juguetes para jugar en la arena. Podemos hacer un castillo. Tengo sillas para todas.

Cate: Yo tengo gorras!

Siena: Yo tengo paraguas.

AJ: Lo mas importante, yo tengo la caja del almuerzo.
