This book is about the use of coding in digital communication systems for a variety of purposes. These can include, but are not limited to: spread-spectrum codes, error correction or prevention codes, and data encryption.

Who is This Book For?[edit | edit source]

This book is for an advanced undergraduate in the area of electrical engineering or a related field.

What are the Prerequisites?[edit | edit source]

The reader of this book should have a solid understanding of the subjections covered in Signals and Systems and well as Communication Systems. The reader must also have a solid working background in both Algebra and Linear Algebra, in addition to Calculus.
