The strength of your encryption method is based not only on your encryption method, but also on your ability to utilize the encryption method.
For example, the One-Time Pad method of encryption is the only completely unbreakable encryption method, but it is based on a rule that the key to the One-Time Pad is completely random.
If this method is implemented with a key that is not completely random in generation then the door is open to forms of breaking the encryption through statistical analysis.
