Cookbook talk:Shrimp

I'm new to the wiki discussion boards, so forgive me if this post is inappropriate or what-have-you, but:

boiling shrimp is the best method of cooking it? especially after peeling it? boiling is violent and drains away flavor... wouldn't steaming in-shell be better?
