[edit] Talk

As Provence went abck forth and between Italy and France for a while, basil, the pride of neighboring Liguria, is not at all out of place.

I am sure cucumbers well but they somehow don't ring true in this dish.

n. t.

A number of the recipes in Livre de cuisine include basil. So I have added this as an option although I have never tried it myself. Mike Hayes (talk) 19:55, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Honest Fraise !

I hope that was a mistake. Courgettes pas concombres.

Tu parles français ?

(réponse de fraise): Oui, je parle français, et j'habite en France :) My mother-in-law, who is French, gave me the recipe. She uses cucumbers.

I never used cucumbers though I am from the south, but I guess you are talking of traditional cucumbers, not the type full of water, grown in three days in glasshouses.

Btw, I saw these recipees were on your web site. The design is indicated copyrighted. Are there copyright on these recipees as well ?

Où ça en France ?

User:Anthere

Recipes are only copyright if the wording is exactly the same. If you write it in your own words, it is not a copyright infringement. Images are copyright, obviously, but one can find free images of food all over the internet. Mike Hayes (talk) 19:42, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

There are no copyrights on the recipes, and in any case, if you look closely you'll see that I made a few changes (I need to update the recipes on my website as well, but that's another story). They're all recipes I've gathered from friends and family in France. Si tu lis mon "user info", tu sauras tout de suite où j'habite en France :) - fraise

ah, french riviera. Je n avais pas "tilté" :-). No pb for the cp, just wanted to check whether you were aware of the issue. I did not check closely, I just had a peep. User:Anthere

Ok, thanks for checking on that! I know it's hard to know just how much a new user is aware of. No worries though, I've read the FAQs and all.

Nous sommes voisins alors. I'm not using cumcumber too. Fenkys 14:08, 8 Nov 2003 (UTC)
