Cookbook talk:Omelet Recipes
From Wikibooks, the open-content textbooks collection
I've moved everything around, and I think most things are now where they should be. The operation didn't go as fluently as I'd hoped, so please check to see that everything is ok, and makes sense. The only loose end is omelette recipe. I had no idea what to do with that one (see it's talk page for more). risk
- Now called Cookbook:Basic Omelet. AlbertCahalan 22:08, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
- Ok, that seems like a good name. Why move this page to Omelette Recipes, though? I proposed to turn omelette/omelet into a sort of disambiguation page, as I thought was the policy with this sort of thing. What's your intention with the omelette/omelet page now? risk
- That wouldn't be bad I suppose, but "Omelet Recipes" seems more consistent with some of the other pages around here. AlbertCahalan 22:53, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
- Ah, so the redirect Omelette->Omelet Recipes just stays this way. That's OK. I thought you had some kind of other plan for the Omelet/Omelette page. risk
- Yes, I think so. I'd be happy to link it to the Basic Omelet recipe if it would be better to quickly direct people to a pretty decent omelet recipe. (I don't think the recipes that risk food poisoning are reasonable choices.) The mix-in varieties (Spanish and Denver) are not what people expect of "Omelet", and the bacon-cheese one is too specific about the filling. AlbertCahalan 23:19, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
