Should this go to a new section titled "Rice" ? (unsigned by 71.197.41.118 at 04:50, 21 November 2005)

Rice is a modern addition to idli; it used to be made just with urad dal. It is a fermented food, a form of bread, an Indian regional food - take your pick. I wouldn't put it into a rice category. Webaware 02:28, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
