Mixed spice???? Like, say, Chinese 5-spice blend? Maybe OK to use Italian seasoning?

I've changed this to "allspice," as I think that's what was meant. Have added explanatory note after recipe as well. Jessicapierce 03:24, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Close, but not quite: "mixed spice" generally has allspice in it, but also cinnamon, nutmeg, and often some other spices like coriander, cloves and ginger. Will fix. Webaware ^talk 08:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
