So, my question remains: Is an egg a dairy product?? Not is it CONSIDERED one, is it one??

Depends on how you look at it. Dairy primarily refers to milk and other milk products like cheese. However, "dairy" also refers to products produced on a dairy farm, which traditionally would probably include eggs. Thus the confusion. Eggs are therefore not "dairy" but they could be a "dairy product" (with different meanings of "dairy" in each). Kellen 06:36, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
