Cookbook talk:Dairy
From Wikibooks, the open-content textbooks collection
So, my question remains: Is an egg a dairy product?? Not is it CONSIDERED one, is it one??
-
- Depends on how you look at it. Dairy primarily refers to milk and other milk products like cheese. However, "dairy" also refers to products produced on a dairy farm, which traditionally would probably include eggs. Thus the confusion. Eggs are therefore not "dairy" but they could be a "dairy product" (with different meanings of "dairy" in each). Kellen 06:36, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
