think this title should be 'Chile' the dish, not 'chili' which refers to the peppers. comments?66.245.207.144 21:45, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Merriam-Webster Online gives "chili" as the main entry with "chile" as a variant. Chili and chili con carne use the spelling "chili" as well as this article. --Think Fast 23:03, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
