I see where alll the imperial measures come from, but seriously, got metric? This articcle is hard to read fro someone not used to the imperial system, and I know someone who knows what he's talking about can fix it quickly. I can't. Off course I can enter the numbers in a converter, but you need nice and rounded numbers for the material to be remembered, and I have no idea what goes on in a kitchen most of the time. --Kasperl (Forgot to log in)

Do not cook frozen chicken in the microwave or in a slow cooker. However, chicken can be cooked from the frozen state in the oven or on the stove. The cooking time may be about 50% longer. This is a quote from the defrosting section, near the end of the current article. I have heard from many sources that frozen or partially-frozen meat and poultry should not be cooked, and can in fact be dangerous in that the meat will likely remain uncooked in parts. I am going to add a note in this section that the food should always be checked to ensure that it is cooked through.

It says when defrosting with cold water to change the water every 30 minutes, but i think a frozen chicken would keep the water cold anyways, much colder than tap water anyways. Here in Australia, we must be careful with wasting water needlessly. I have not edited the page because I am no expert on the matter, plus im new to trying to contribute to wiki so i dont want to make my first move a dumb one -gaspah
