Some drink recipes appear under cuisines, like Bubble Tea, we should add those links too I think. --OMouse 2:27EST, 27 Feb 2005

[edit] List of Cocktails

There are a couple of recipes at Wikipedia under w:List of cocktails. We should probably move them over to this page. --Alsocal 04:10, 24 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Put them on the Bartending:Cocktails page. There are too many name conflicts (like Apricot Pie) to put cocktails in the cookbook. (plus the wiki formatting is almost always crude, with bad links and missing headers -- clearly, people are testing the cocktails before adding them to the wiki) AlbertCahalan 00:36, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wine

Our Bulgarian friend has put a page about wine regions.
How will wine be treated in the Cookbook in general?
Nearly every Cookbook I know has good suggestions about what wines to take with food. Perhaps we should have the general red wines and white wines and the table/cask wines, as well as foods where wine is an important ingredient.

As needed, we can link to the Bartending book. Let's keep the cookbook simple and clear, with an emphasis on cooking. Note that there is also a Gardening book, and there could be a book for brewing and winemaking. AlbertCahalan 00:36, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cross-linking

This module states: Alcoholic beverages are covered elsewhere, in the bartending book. Bartending:Alcoholic Drink states: See also [...] Beverages in the Cookbook for drink recipes not normally considered part of mixology.

Moreover, Cookbook:Alcoholic Drink, where the information is de facto at, is now listed under "ingredients" in the main module. --Salleman 10:57, 16 July 2005 (UTC)
