[edit] Vegetarian?

I don't think that recipies with eggs in them are vegetarian. I have removed the vegetarian label for that reason. User:69.165.27.107

Yes they are. You confuse vegetarian with vegan. AlbertCahalan 01:52, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
That's right, most of us vegetarians do eat eggs, but not chicken meat. 69.87.194.147 14:00, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sour milk

Where can sour milk be found in America?

Some people add a few tablespoons of vinegar to milk to get the effect - I used cultured buttermilk, and it turned out wonderfully. This is a really good recipe, by the way!

[edit] Notes / Ideas

  • this recipe is almost identical to my Vegan recipe except
    • there are no eggs
    • the milk is soy/rice/oat/nut milk
    • the white sugar can be substituted with maple syrup for many good reasons
    • the recipe also works with 1/4 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. baking powder
