"Many meals in big restaurants are ruined because their surroundings are just too noisy" I would have to disagree. The audiatory ambiance is a big part of why I love eating out at Restaurants (Although I agree it may ruin a meal for some people). There's nothing quite like eating at the LA Farmer's Market, with 2 bands trying to compete with each other, and everyone carrying on in their own conversations, and sitting in a folding chair on a 10 degree slope, trying not to let your tippy table spill your food. 24.205.34.217 20:59, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

The opinion regarding musical choice with bouillabaise is ridiculous. Barnaclese 17:48, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

I think this page is just exceedingly prone to opinion. 66.215.20.28 (talk) 06:18, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

"To show off the food and put everyone at ease about cleanliness, use bright white (not yellowish) lighting with pure white dishes and clear glasses." - I think not. One should use appropriate crockery and lighting. A Ploughman's lunch served on white china in a bright room might look utterly inapropriate, where as it would look fantastic served on willow pattern crockery in a yellowed, underlit pub. --82.46.75.231 08:23, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
