- 2 apples peeled, cored, and grated
- 3 bananas chopped and mashed
- Juice and zest of ½ lemon
- Juice and zest of ½ orange
- 15 dates, pitted and chopped finely
- ½ cup ground walnuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup red wine
- 3 tsp matzo meal
- Honey to taste
Procedure[edit | edit source]
- Mix apples, bananas, lemon juice, lemon zest, orange juice, orange zest, dates, and nuts in a bowl.
- Add cinnamon, wine, and matzo meal, and blend thoroughly.
- Mix in honey to taste.
