Qubani ka meetha literally translated as Apricot sweet is the pride and joy of hyderabadi cuisine. The dries apricots are soaked in hot water to soften them and then stewed for a couple of hours on slow fire. It is garnished with the nuts from the apricots itsels. It is best accompanied with Vanilla Ice cream or heavy whipping cream. This dessert is also very flexible for diabetic patients or you can always make it low cal by cutting down the amount of sugar and the ice cream or cream.
