New England cuisine is a type of American cuisine found in the Northeast United States. It is characterized by extensive use of seafood and dairy products and often involves either baking or slow cooking vegtables with a thickened broth.
Traditional New England dinners sometimes include side dishes of cottage cheese, boiled/or blanched green beans as well as soup or salad.
