Easy Bacon and Bean Bake

Ingredients

• 1 10-12 ounce (medium) potato
• 6 strips bacon, cooked crisp, or microwave ready fully cooked bacon
• 1 (28-ounce) can green beans
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon onion powder
• ⅛ cup sliced almonds

Procedure

1. Peel and dice the potato.
2. Crumble crisp bacon into small pieces.
3. Drain green beans, keeping ½ cup of the liquid.
4. Put beans, bean juice, bacon, and potato in a microwave-safe baking dish.
5. Sprinkle onion powder and salt on top.
6. Cover with clear wrap.
7. Cook in microwave oven 5 minutes, stir, cook another 5 minutes.
8. Let stand 5 minutes.
9. Garnish with sliced almonds.
