Yakiniku is a Japanese term referring broadly to grilled or barbecued meat dishes. This recipe tops pizza dough with a yakiniku-style beef stir-fry.

Ingredients[edit | edit source]

Dough[edit | edit source]

Topping[edit | edit source]

Spreading[edit | edit source]

Procedure[edit | edit source]

Dough[edit | edit source]

  1. Combine flours, yeast, sugar, water, and salt to make a dough.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap, and rest the dough 10 minutes until expanded.

Topping[edit | edit source]

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add the onion and capsicum, and sauté for 10 seconds.
  2. Add the tenderloin and the water. Add the mirin, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
  3. Add the dissolved cornflour, salt, and sugar. Stir until well-mixed and slightly thickened.
  4. Separate the solids from the extra sauce. Reserve the sauce to serve with the pizza.

Finishing[edit | edit source]

  1. Roll out the pizza dough to a 10 cm diameter. Spread the meat topping on top.
  2. Bake pizza in the oven at 220°C for 20 minutes.
  3. Serve hot with the dipping sauces.
