[edit] Scope

The purpose of this open book project is to provide a free text book for future Computer Engineering students at San Jose State University. This book was created by contributions from CMPE206 (Fall 2006) students. Project team members research through assigned topics, and put all the perceived useful material together in text book format. Various review questions and exercises are also provided at the end of each chapter to emphasize the key points.

We sincerely hope that future CMPE206 and CMPE148 students can benefit from this collection and subsequently contribute to this ongoing effort.

As of this writing (11/23/2006), this book is not ready yet. Some chapters are in decent shape, but others are not. More editing/filtering are needed.
