The use of a stacked deck makes many things possible for the performing magician. Essentially, a stacked deck, as the name implies, is simply a deck with the cards set up in a predetermined order. A well-known stacked deck is known as the Eight Kings Chased stack.
Another common stack is called the Si Stebbins stack (or "stacking system").
