If you need to translate text in one column and enter it into a second column, you can use the "ignore red text" feature on importing an Excel file into DV.

Prepare the Excel file as follows:

1. Copy the text to be translated to the target column or cells.
2. Mark the source text "red".
3. Save the Excel sheet.
4. In the DVX project explorer, select the excel file to be imported.
5. In the properties window which appears once you have highlighted a file to import, tick the "ignore red text" box.

When you have translated and exported the file as usual, don't forget to change the text you set to red back to normal.
