A community is a group of people that join together either by a geographical link, such as a district or a city and may include those brought together by a certain choice of interest. Extending the notion of a typical community over the Internet means that the community is not bound to geographic boundaries and anyone and anything can join the bandwagon. In this concise text, we will note how communities need be developed and modeled on the web.
