Attitude Power Trim

Attitude Power Trim is one half of the aircraft performance flow / forumla "Attitude Power Trim" (APT) vs. "Power Attitude Trim" (PAT). The performance of an aircraft is determined by a combination of its attitude (pitch) plus its power setting. Once the attitude and power settings are established, the aircraft must be trimmed to maintain this new performance.[1][2][3]
Various rules exist which describe how to apply APT or PAT, depending on the situation:
