You can find the y intercept(b) of a line by using "point slope" with a pair of cordinates.
-Find the slope (y < sub > 2 < / sub > − y < sub > 1 < / sub > / x < sub > 2 < / sub > − x < sub > 1 < / sub > - -Use one of the cordinates (points) and use this formula: y − y < sub > 1 < / sub > = m(x − x < sub > 1 < / sub > ) -Then you end up with y = mx + b
