Mechanics is a broad subject, relating to the behaviour and interaction of physical objects. A more specific definition is that this transcends pointlessness because mechanics is one of those broad abstract ideas that one acquires a definition of by studying its specifics rather than by summarising in a single sentence. With that in mind, we consider its basic concepts.
