Lonicera x heckrottii is a garden hybrid, grown for its showy clusters of pink flowers and evergreen foliage. Flowers are produced throughout the year, even in winter.

Description [edit]

This is a vigorous, twining vine, leaves are opposite, fused at the top. The flowers are in terminal clusters of 5-10 , pink, and tubular.

Growing Conditions [edit]

Requires a trellis or fence for support. Performs best in rich, well-drained soils in full sun. For winter flowering, shelter from wind is helpful.
